NIMS Chairman Dr Balvir Singh Tomar announces free heart surgery to 422 children

Yesterday, NIMS University was graced by the presence of acclaimed actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav along with famous singer Palak Muchhal and director & music composer Palash Muchhal. They were at NIMS for the promotion of their recently released movie Ardh. 

 
The event was organized at Sunderban Garden, NIMS University on the 13th of June. Chairman and Chancellor of NIMS University Prof. (Dr.) Balvir S. Tomar met with the team of Ardh and congratulated them on the release of their movie.

 At this event, Prof. (Dr.) Balvir S. Tomar, NIMS Chairman announced free medical insurance to 422 children suffering from congenital heart disease. NIMS Hospital will perform heart surgeries for all 422 children for free. 

 The Chairman of NIMS University in his speech shared, "He hasn't seen a movie for 40 years, but he was fascinated with the trailer of the movie Ardh and has watched it numerous times." The Chairman also announced a special screening of the movie Ardh at NIMS University on any Sunday.

 Rajpal Yadav and Palak Muchhal were felicitated with the title of Adjunct Professor by Dr Balvir Singh Tomar, Chairman, NIMS University. Palash Mucchal was conferred the Young Achievers Award by NIMS. Dr. Tomar also praised the makeup artist and stylist of the movie for doing an amazing job. The whole team of Ardh was also felicitated with a memento. 

 


 

The students had a great time on the fun-filled evening when comedian Rajpal Yadav shared his life story and entertained us all with his impeccable sense of humour. Everyone was awestruck by the mesmerizing voice of Palak Muchhal when she performed her famous songs. Palash Muchhal shared his stories as a child actor and assistant director in the past. Ardh is Palash Muchhal's directorial debut and he has done an amazing job.

Ardh is a story of a actor struggling in Bollywood and the various hardships he faces, and how he disguises himself as a transgender to support his family and make ends meet. The film features Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik in leading roles, Hiten Tejwani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda can also be seen in the movie.

Inauguration and Orientation Program: A momentous day at NIMS International School

 On Sunday 18th of July, NIMS International School organized an 'Inauguration and Orientation program' for students and their parents at NIMS University premises. It was a fantastic moment when we were graced by the presence of Nepal's Ambassador to India, H.E. Dr. Shankar P Sharma, as a chief guest, Mr. Yadunath Poudel, Cultural and Educational Counselor at the Embassy of Nepal, and pop singer Mr. Ashok Masti as a special guest.
