Experts impart knowledge to the young generation, A Masterclass by Dr. Sandeep Khanna

 NIMS University organized another 'Masterclass' on Medical Overseas Placement, how to crack the United States Medical Licensing Examination, and the importance of Pediatric Care in Rajeshwari Auditorium on the 12th of July. Masterclasses are lectures delivered by renowned personalities and experts in their respective fields and organized for the upskilling and betterment of our students. It is also an excellent opportunity to receive knowledge from the top experts in the area. 


On this occasion, NIMS Chairman Prof. (Dr.) Balvir S. Tomar met with Dr. Sandeep Khanna and shared an informative talk with him. Dr. Khanna is an acclaimed pediatrician and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Rady Children's Hospital, San Diego, in the United States. Dr. Tomar has also studied at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Tomar said, 'It is always delightful to meet a fellow pediatrician who strives to work hard and help society.' It was a fantastic experience interacting with Dr. Khanna. He was also felicitated with a memento.




In this Masterclass session, Dr. Khanna interacted with the students of NIMS University and delivered a lecture on Medical Overseas Placement and the importance of Pediatric Care. Dr. Khanna elaborated further on how life is for Indians in the United States. He gave essential pointers and various tips about how to prepare for the USMLE and how one can increase his chances of getting placed in the United States of America. He also talked about the importance of pediatric care and how it is necessary for the proper development of a child. Good pediatric care ensures a child's healthy mental, physical, and social development.






Pediatric care is beneficial as children are the future of our society; as fellow pediatricians, we must strive to help and cure the patients.

Inauguration and Orientation Program: A momentous day at NIMS International School

 On Sunday 18th of July, NIMS International School organized an 'Inauguration and Orientation program' for students and their parents at NIMS University premises. It was a fantastic moment when we were graced by the presence of Nepal's Ambassador to India, H.E. Dr. Shankar P Sharma, as a chief guest, Mr. Yadunath Poudel, Cultural and Educational Counselor at the Embassy of Nepal, and pop singer Mr. Ashok Masti as a special guest. In addition, Mr. Mukesh k Meena, Special Commissioner of Delhi Police, joined the event as a guest of honor.
