Mika Singh LIVE, an unforgettable musical night at NIMS University

 It was a tremendous night last Saturday 2nd July. The musical night was enriched with full of entertainment and fun because the singing king Mika Singh performed at the NIMS University. It was the occasion of the "Felicitation and Cultural Event" where Mika came with his crew including singers Jaan Kumar Sanu, Biswajeeta Deb and Raman Kapoor. Another famous singer Mann Singh from Desi Hustlers band also joined the musical night. The live program was conducted for more than three hours and all the rockstars set the fire on the stage with their performances. 





NIMS University is always keen on the educational and career development perspective of the students as well as their joy and entertainment. After completing the exams in many courses it is essential to give a mental refreshment dose to students. The students and staff members were seen dancing and grooving to the performance of Mika Sigh and other singers.

On this occasion, it was a proud moment for the NIMS University when Prof. (Dr.) Balvir Singh Tomar, Chairman and Chancellor, NIMS University honoured Amrik Singh aka Mika Singh with an honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy for his outstanding contribution in the field of performing arts. Mika Singh was also conferred the title of Adjunct Professor by NIMS University. At this event, the singer of Desi Hustlers, Manpreet Singh aka Mann Singh, and Jagmohan Singh aka Gora Singh were also conferred the title of Adjunct Professor by NIMS University. 







When Dr Tomar told Mika Singh that now he can teach the students of NIMS University as a professor, Mika replied, "I will come to NIMS University every year to teach students for their musical talent upskilling".

At the event, Dr Mika Singh said, it is an honour for me to get an honorary doctorate. He also expressed his gratitude to NIMS University and Dr Tomar. Mann Singh and Gora Singh also expressed their gratitude and thanks to NIMS Chairman for felicitating them with the title of Adjunct Professor. Mann Singh also said that this is a memorable moment for him that he was honoured as an Adjunct Professor on his birthday.

Inauguration and Orientation Program: A momentous day at NIMS International School

 On Sunday 18th of July, NIMS International School organized an 'Inauguration and Orientation program' for students and their parents at NIMS University premises. It was a fantastic moment when we were graced by the presence of Nepal's Ambassador to India, H.E. Dr. Shankar P Sharma, as a chief guest, Mr. Yadunath Poudel, Cultural and Educational Counselor at the Embassy of Nepal, and pop singer Mr. Ashok Masti as a special guest. In addition, Mr. Mukesh k Meena, Special Commissioner of Delhi Police, joined the event as a guest of honor.
