Now you understand well how much happiness matters to us. NIMS University always initiates efforts for the welfare and happiness of human beings. NIMS University recently organized an event on the 24th of September in collaboration with the Global Happiness Foundation to bring awareness about happiness. The event's theme was "Happiness for self, happiness for all." It was a magnificent event. Hon'ble Union minister Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal Ji, Deputy Mayor Nagar Nigam Jaipur Greater Shri Puneet Karnawat, and famous happiness propagator and social thinker Dr. Nanditesh Nilay were the other distinguished people on the stage with me. In addition, leaders from each sector of society were there, whether politicians, business people, public representatives, lawyers, chartered accountants, educationalists, and homemakers, joined the event. Some were very old, and some others were children. Some employees of NIMS University also were presented there.

Shri Meghwal Ji shared his real-life experience and encouraged us to live happily. He emphasized the happiness of our body, mind, wisdom, and soul. He said everyone should share his pleasure or sadness with others, pay a compliment, and give credit to others. In this context, I would like to tell you that Global Happiness Foundation came into existence with the efforts of Shri Meghwal Ji, and the program organized was his concept to encourage people to be happy. The keynote speaker Dr. Nilay also conducted various activities that were very interesting. He gave exciting and practical examples of happy relationships like husband-wife, mother-son, and friends. As he said, absolutely right, we should cherish our beautiful memories and live life for others too.
